Elizabeth (Liz) Marks
With 40 years of consulting experience, Liz has been responsible for leading client teams and managing health benefits projects, including strategic planning, financial evaluation, cost management, carrier negotiations, program evaluation and benefits communications.
In addition to working with employer-sponsored benefit plans, Liz has consulted on student health insurance plans for 30 years and was a national leader at Mercer. She has managed consulting services for several large private universities in California and the East Coast.
Liz served for 10 years as an officer on the Board of Directors at Emperor’s College, a professional graduate school of traditional oriental medicine, and continues as an emeritus board member. She attended Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts, where she majored in English. In 1982, she received the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation, sponsored jointly by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.nd great success in working as a liaison between the client and their provider.
